Waneta L. (Sadler) Kuczinski

Waneta L. (Sadler) Kuczinski, 90, a lifelong resident of Upton, died early Monday, January 20, 2014, in St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. She was the widow of John Kuczinski, who died in 1962.
Mrs. Kuczinski was born in Upton, a daughter of the late H. Stephen and Grace (Weir) Sadler. She was a graduate of Upton High School and a U. S. Coast Guard veteran of World War II. She worked at the former Kartiganer Hat Company and then at Bay State Abrasives, retiring around 1990.
She leaves one son, Wayne Kuczinski and his wife Deborah of Sutton; a daughter, Wendy Yakstis of Whitinsville; two brothers, Frederick Sadler of PA and William Sadler of Upton; four grandchildren, Lisa and Jeff Kuczinski and Nikki and Tori Yakstis; a son-in-law, Gary Yakstis of Dudley; two sisters-in-law, Hazel Sadler of Upton and Jennie Glispin of Grafton; and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
prior to the service on Thursday.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m.in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
