Upton- Walter C. Kane, 64, of Upton died Saturday July 2, 2011 in Milford Regional Hospital after an illness.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Maureen (O'Sullivan) Kane, and their two sons, Michael J. Kane and his wife Elyse of Hanover, and Peter J. Kane of Upton, and a grandson Ryan M. Kane of Brimfield, his mother Josephine (Tomaso) Kane of Westborough, his sister Mary A. (Kane) Emery of Shrewsbury, and 4 brothers, Charles E. Kane of Merritt Island, FL, Paul J. Kane of Douglas, and David J. and Stephen F. Kane both of Westborough, and many nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father Walter J. Kane.
Walter was born in Milford and raised and educated in Westborough. He is a graduate of Westborough High School, class of 1964; he graduated from Worcester Junior College and Clark University.
Walter was an executive at Bay State Abrasives, and the Winterthur Co.
He was an avid golfer and longtime member of Westborough, Country Club.
