Timothy Applegate, 55, of Upton, passed away at home on Monday, September 8, 2014 after a prolonged illness.
Tim was born in Springfield, IL, the son of Shirley J. (Mickel) Applegate of Lebanon, TN and the late James H. Applegate. He served with the U.S. Marine Corp from 1981 to 1987 and worked as a product manager at EMC. He was a Harley Davidson and Corvette enthusiast.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Cynthia (Boynton) Applegate and his son Sean of Upton; a daughter, Alissa Hill and her husband Christopher and grandchildren Riley Paige "Princess" and Morgan James "Tank" Hill of Grafton. In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his sisters, Suzanne Reneé Garner of Lebanon, TN and Rita Steigerwald of Goose Creek, SC; a cousin Joel Mickel of Darden, TN; as well as many other family members.
