Steven D. Fleenor

Steven D. Fleenor, 67, of Abington, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, in Franklin, MA. Born on August 22, 1957, he was a son of the late Douglas and Margaret (Crawford) Fleenor and was raised and educated in Dorchester. Steven also called Abington, Quincy, and Sanbornton, NH, home throughout his life.

Steven’s vibrant spirit and joyful heart were evident to all who knew him. A true family man, he loved his relatives deeply and carried within him the essence of a big-hearted child, finding joy in both the simple and profound moments of life. His passion extended beyond family; he found fulfillment in his career as a truck driver. Steven was notably skilled, maneuvering his 58-foot trailer through the bustling streets of New York City with the ease and agility one might attribute to a sports car. His driving talents, particularly his pride in achieving perfectly executed backup maneuvers on the first try, were a testament to his dedication and expertise.

Steven is survived by his brother Thomas Fleenor of Weymouth and a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved as if they were his own. He is predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Margaret, and his sister Mary Fleenor.
