Shelly Ann (Grant) Teachout

Shelly A. (Grant) Teachout, 52, of Mendon and formerly of Upton, died Sunday, Feb. 6, in UMass/Memorial Healthcare in Worcester after an illness. She was the widow of Robert M. Teachout, who died in 2003.
Mrs. Teachout was born in Framingham, the daughter of the late Robert and Barbara (Pancyzk) Grant. She worked as a technician at EMC for 15 years and also had been a cook at the Rose Garden Lounge in Upton.
She leaves her son, Robert M. Teachout, Jr. of Mendon, and daughter, Corey Ann Teachout of Hopkinton.

Following cremation, a graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 19, at 10 a.m.in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
