Shawn Gerard Doherty, 51, passed away suddenly in Wilmot, NH on Tuesday, September 2, 2014.
Shawn was born November 8, 1962 in Woburn to Philip A Doherty, Jr. and Marie B. Doherty. He graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1980. On October 12, 1991, he married Janet Moore, daughter of Donna and Richard Desjardins of Upton and Wayne and Peggy Moore of Delmar, DE.
He grew up in Billerica and lived most recently in Upton. He had a long career at Eastman Kodak Company as a well respected Field Engineer. Shawn will always be remembered for his ability to "fix anything and everything," as well as for his love for Halloween and amazing skills for making "peanut brittle."
Survivors include his wife Janet and his son Shawn Avery. He also leaves behind his mother Marie of Wilmot, NH; brother Philip and his wife Elizabeth of Maple Plain, MN; brother Thomas and his wife Donna of Flushing, NY; brother Kevin and his wife Amy of Leesburg, VA; sister Erin Piazza and her husband Jimmy of Ballwin, MO; sister AnnMarie Rochenski and her husband Ed of Belmont, NH, and brother-in-law Jeff Moore and his fiancée Rose Riggeri of Sutton. He will always be remembered as "QT" by his many nieces and nephews, including Jessica, Danielle, Dylan, MaryKate, Cory, Jilliann, Ryan, Christina, Michelle, Amanda, Eddie, Daniel, Michael, and Ryan. Shawn was predeceased by his sister Lisa and father Philip.
