Ruth F. (Garrity) Perkins

Ruth F. Perkins, 91, formerly of Upton, died on Friday, January 8, 2010 at the Cedars Nursing Care Center in Portland, ME. She was the wife of the late Phillip F. Perkins.
Born in Fall River, MA, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Leah (Slater) Garrity. She was a graduate of BMC Durfee High School in Fall River and of the Thibodeau Business College also in Fall River.
Mrs. Perkins was employed at Gaudette Insurance in Grafton, MA prior to her retirement.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Lou Knight of Uxbridge; two step-daughters, Carolyn Perkins of Framingham and Janet Giorgio of Holliston, four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
Burial in Maplewood Cemetery in West Upton will take place in the spring.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Wednesday, January 13th, from 6 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home at 45 Main St., Upton.Burial in Maplewood Cemetery in West Upton will take place in the spring.
