NORTHBRIDGE - Russell P. Turner, 63, of the Whitinsville section of Northbridge, died late Wednesday, November 30, 2005, in his home after an illness. He was the husband of Judith (Labine) Turner.
Mr. Turner was born in Northbridge, a son of the late Paul R. and Beatrice C. (Lavergne) Turner. He was educated in Northbridge schools and earned an associate's degree in business from Johnson & Wales University. He served with the U. S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964 and had lived in Northbridge most of his life.
An assembly worker for General Motors in Framingham for 25 years, he then served as health agent for the Town of Charlton for several years until retiring in 2004. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and golfer, who loved spending time with his grandchildren and at the family's summer home in Maidstone, VT.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he leaves one daughter, Kimberly A. Silva and her husband John, of Sutton; three brothers, James Turner of Chattanooga, TN, Paul Turner, Jr. of Deltona, FL, and David Turner of Worcester; a sister, Patricia Carguilo of Sarasota, FL; and two grandchildren, Lindsay and Jonathan Silva of Sutton.

Service Details
Following cremation, memorial service on Thursday, December 8, at 10 a.m. in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will follow in the Labine family lot in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
