Rosemarie Boudrot

Rosemarie Boudrot, 82, a longtime Upton resident passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at the Milford Regional Medical Center surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of 59 years to Donald P. Boudrot.

Born in Dayton, OH, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Mary (Konicki) Mayer and was raised and educated in Dayton.

Prior to retirement, Rosemarie was employed as an Administrative Assistant at Boston Scientific in Marlborough, MA and previously at Dennison Manufacturing in Framingham, MA.

Rosemarie was a proud member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Church and the Upton Bloomer Girls.

She found the greatest pleasure spending time with her family, especially with her grandchildren. She was a fantastic cook and excellent seamstress, even making her own clothes including her wedding dress. As a mother, she made beautiful outfits and coats for her children. Rose loved to travel enjoying numerous trips out to the western part of the country and looked forward to the time she spent in Ohio with her extensive family. She enjoyed spending weekends and vacations at her second home in the White Mountains of NH. Rose valued time with friends and the lifelong friendships she had, some since grade school. Rose and her husband spent winters in Florida and met many new people who soon became friends. Her kind manner and beautiful spirit had a way of making everyone she interacted with feel welcome. Rose was loved by many and will be missed by all.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her two daughters, Sherry Boudrot and Robert Collari of Upton, and Denise McCarthy and her husband Jason of Sturbridge; three grandchildren; Zachary Boudrot, Kylie McCarthy and Maddison McCarthy; her siblings, Anthony Mayer of Fletcher, OH, Bernard Mayer of New Breman, OH, Norbert Mayer of Dayton, OH, Barbara Tipton and her husband Ron of Dayton, OH, and Stephen Mayer of Tipp City, OH; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 AM on Thursday, June 27, at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street, Upton.  Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Wednesday, June 26, at Pickering & Son Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
