Robert B. Paine, Jr.

Robert B. Paine, Jr., of Upton, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston.  He was the husband to the late Carol Ann (Packet) Paine who died in 2013.

Born in Milford, he was the son of the late Robert Sr. and Elizabeth (Nelson) Paine and was raised and educated in Upton.

Prior to retirement, he was employed as a machinist for Bay State Abrasives in Westborough and was also a part time police officer in Upton.

Robert enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He took great pride in his grandchildren and could always be seen attending their sporting events.

He is survived by his children, Erik Paine and his wife Vickie and Dean Paine and his wife Jeannette all of Upton MA. Loving Grandfather to Thomas, Emily, Ethan, Jack and Devon.

His memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Saturday, November 25, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main St. Upton.

Calling hours are from 10 AM to 12 Noon in the funeral home prior to the service.
