Pamela J. (Craib) Allen, 65, of Denmark, ME, and formerly of Upton, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2015 after a 17-year battle with breast cancer. She was the wife of William Allen.
Mrs. Allen was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Stanley and Virginia (Barnes) Craib of Upton. In addition to her husband of 46 years, she leaves two sons and their families, Jeff Allen and Gail Armstrong-Allen of Carver, and Jon and Amy Allen of Fairfax, VA; her brother Stanley Craib and his wife Mary of Port St. Lucie, FL; and 2 grandchildren, Killian and Darcy Allen.
Her career spanned over 35 years as a payroll specialist and software consultant at various companies. Following a professional career, she started her own arts and crafts business, "Capertown Country Store," at the site of her parents' former business Suburban Cleaners in Upton. In retirement, Pam volunteered with Bridgton Arts & Crafts in Bridgeton, ME, and with Maine Adaptive sports programs.
She most enjoyed raising Golden Retrievers, sipping wine with her friends at the cabin by the lake that she and her husband built in Maine, spending time with her grandchildren, RV'ing from Maine to Florida, and serving as the founding member of the Knitwits.

Service Details
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 22, at 1 p.m.
in the United Parish Church, 1 Church St, Upton.
Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery, Maple Ave., West Upton.
