Oleva L. (Corey) Picard, 76, of Upton, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 7, 2015 after a brief illness. She was surrounded by her children. She was the wife of the late Russell C. Picard, Sr., who went home to be with the Lord in 2000.
Born and raised in Holliston, she was the daughter of Sidney and Rose (Bray) Corey, and was a devoted, generous, and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. She was a resident of Upton for 50 years.
She is survived by her five children: Linda Brown and her husband Joel, Sr. of Whitinsville, Russell Picard, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Upton, Rhonda Shannon and her husband David of Ashland, Brenda Capuzziello and her husband Stephen, Sr. of Upton, and Amanda Ayotte and her husband Alan of Upton. She is also survived by her sisters Dorothy Carpinetti of Sugar Hill, NH, Barbara Gilman of Ashland, and Rose Marie DeCesare of Westborough, and was predeceased by her brother Sidney Corey. She also leaves 17 grandchildren: Joel, Jr., Dustin, Daniel, Diana, Ashley, Maria, Michael, Julian, Isabella, Gianna, Farrell, Samuel, John, Rose, Stephen, Jr., Cassie, and Scott; three great-grandchildren: Lyla, Jace, and Leif; and many nieces and nephews.
