Nicholas J. Miller of Hopkinton, MA passed away on Saturday April 16, 2022 at the age of 43, but his enormous heart and love for his family and friends will not be forgotten. Born in Newton on June 17, 1978, husband to Kathleen (Marino) Miller and loving father to Kelsey, Gavin & Cameron of Hopkinton, Massachusetts. Nick was the beloved son of the late Jeffrey Miller & Charlene “Charlie” (Hall) Miller, son-in law of Agnes & Paul Marino; loving brother to Allison Miller Mercier & Matt Mercier, Timothy Miller and the late Melissa Miller, Richard and Sam Laney, Peter Helmuth, Laura & Thomas Fancher, Amanda & Jeff Marino, Julie & Brian Marino and best friend and cousin to Linda Ragusa. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and co-workers.
Nick had many accomplishments in his life, but none of them came close to how proud he was of his wife and their three beautiful kids whom his world revolved around. His family was the love of his life and he cherished spending time teaching them to camp, fish and boat on Cape Cod. Nick was happiest near water and a good fire. He especially loved watching his kids play youth sports, watching movies, going to concerts and spending time routing for his beloved New England Patriots on the weekends. He cherished his time with his parents, sister, brothers and friends, especially in Port Clyde, York Beach, Cape Cod, North Conway and East New Market Maryland. Nick was an outgoing and funny guy who met new people everywhere he went. He loved to help people and make them laugh. He attended Hopkinton High School where he was a friend to many as well as a star football player selected for the Shriners All-Star Classic for Eastern Massachusetts. Nick then played Division I football at Merrimack College and furthered his studies through many courses and certification programs. Nick was a licensed electrician, worked as a Facilities Manager at many fortunate employers, most recently Hines Global and ISS Facilities for the last several years.
His memory will live on in the lives of his wife and children who he deeply loved. Nick very much would want those who loved him to live with all the love he left behind.
A Memorial Service will be held at Faith Community Church, 146 E. Main Street, Hopkinton on May 12th at 2pm. Close friends and relatives are welcome to join.
