Nathan Walker Snow

April 20, 1968 — December 17, 2009

Nathan W. "Nate" Snow, 41, of Upton and Barre, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 in Barre after an illness. He was the son of Robert H. and Gail N. (Wright) Snow of Upton and was self-employed.

Nate was born in Worcester and was educated in local schools. He graduated from King Philip Regional High School in Wrentham, attended Butera School of Art in Boston, and served with the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm. An accomplished marksman, he enjoyed target shooting and earned several marksmanship awards during his military service. He was an avid reader, collector of war memorabilia, and an expert in fine furniture and antiques.

In addition to his parents, he leaves two brothers, Justin and his wife Diane J. Snow and their children Kyle and Kayla, and Lincoln and his wife Diane M. L. Snow and their children Hannah and Jacob, all of Upton. He also leaves many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Upton Bloomer Girls, Box 121, Upton, MA 01568.

Service Details

Memorial calling hours will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2009 from 5 to 8 p.m. in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Following cremation, private burial will be at the convenience of the family.
