Michael J. Wolfgang

Michael J. “Mike” Wolfgang, 25, of Upton, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 6, 2021.

Born in Worcester, he was the son of Donna (Gorham) Wolfgang of Upton and the late Robert Wolfgang, Jr.  He was raised and educated in Upton.

Mike enjoyed hanging out with his friends, spending time with family and cherished the time he spent hiking and doing other activities with his son, Alexander.  As a young child, Mike was in the Young Marines which made his grandfather Fred proud.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his son, Alexander Stephen Wolfgang; his siblings, Courtney Wolfgang of Upton and Nicole Wolfgang; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Gorham of Upton; as well as his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is also predeceased by his uncle, Stephen Gorham; his maternal grandfather, Fred Gorham; and his paternal grandparents, Robert Sr. and Ethel Wolfgang.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, April 16, from 5 to 7 P.M. in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, Inc. 45 Main Street, Upton.

Facial coverings and social distancing are required while inside the funeral home and waiting to enter the funeral home.  Please refrain from any physical contact with the family.
