Mary C. Sharron, 78, of South Grafton, and formerly of Upton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at her home.  She is the beloved wife of Stephen F. Sharron.

Born in Upton, she was a daughter of the late William and Mabel (Miller) Carroll and was raised and educated in Upton.  She then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree at the Framingham Teachers College.

Prior to retirement, Mrs. Sharron was employed at the Southbridge Middle School as a Home Economics Teacher for 30 years.

Over the years Mary traveled many times to Cape Cod, all over Maine, and New Brunswick, Canada to visit family.  She also enjoyed gardening, sewing, and spending time with family, friends, and her cherished cats.

In addition to her husband Stephen, she is survived by her stepchildren, Andrew Sharron and his wife Sherrie of Charlton and James Sharron and his wife Maria of Warren; her step grandchildren, Zachary and Amy Sharron; and her sister-in-law Maria Carroll of Upton.

She is predeceased by her brother Donald Carroll, who died in January of this year.

A graveside service will be held at 1 P.M. on Wednesday, November 13 at Maplewood Cemetery, Upton.
