MENDON - Mary V. (Keating) Conley, 84, of Mendon, died Sunday, March 26, 2006 in the Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Shrewsbury.
Mrs. Conley was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Twomey) Keating. She grew up in Quincy and then lived in Randolph for 37 years before coming to Mendon to reside with her son about 12 years ago. She graduated summa cum laude from Trinity College in Vermont, where she obtained a degree in mathematics and was valedictorian of her class. She worked as a statistician before devoting her life to her family. She was actively involved as a Franciscan at St. Bernadette's Church in Randolph and most recently was a communicant of St. Michael's Parish in Mendon.
She leaves five sons, Mark and Myles of Merrimack, NH, Hugh of Nashua, NH, Neil of Randolph, and Paul of Mendon; two daughters, Eileen Jones of Wiscasset, ME and Sheila Sorme of Tyrone, GA; two brothers, Geoffrey Keating of MD and Brian Keating of RI; a sister, Paula Murphy of Williamstown; 12 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Edward and Gregory Keating and Lian Roach.

Funeral mass at 11 a.m. on Thursday, March 30,
in St. Michael's Church, North Ave., Mendon.
Following cremation, burial will be in the Keating family lot
in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery in Quincy.
Calling hours at the funeral home Wednesday from 5 to 8 p.m.
