Marilyn Louise Chiumento, 58, of Ashland, died Friday night, April 20, 2007 shortly after arrival at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after a battle with lung cancer. She was a retired Staff Sergeant with the U. S. Air Force.
Ms. Chiumento was born in Natick, a daughter of Dorothy (Randall) Chiumento, with whom she lived, and the late Thomas J. Chiumento, and grew up in Hopkinton, where she was a graduate of Hopkinton High School. A veteran of the Vietnam War, she was a member of the American Legion and the Disabled American Veterans, and was an avid bingo player.
In addition to her mother, she leaves two brothers, Robert Germain and his wife Denise of Framingham, and Paul Germain and his wife Cindy of Milford; two nephews, Paul and Tom Germain of San Diego, CA; two nieces, Tara Carey and her husband Heath of Sandwich and Tiffany Germain of Milford; her great nieces and great nephew, Azalea, Indigo, and Lexington Carey of Sandwich; and several aunts and uncles. She was also the great aunt of the late Violet and Iris Carey and sister-in-law of the late Maryann Germain.

Service Details
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 24 at 11 a.m. in the
Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial with military honors will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
A calling hour at the funeral home will precede the funeral from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.
