Marguerite "Alice" (Bourgeois) Walker, 82, of North Grafton and formerly of Upton, died Friday, October 28, 2011 in Millbury Health Care Center after a long period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Richard A. Walker.
Mrs. Walker was born in Uxbridge, the daughter of the late William and Rose I. (Lebossier) Bourgeois, and had lived in Grafton for 30 years. She was a factory worker at area companies, including Bullard Abrasives in Westborough, before retiring to care for her grandchildren in 1980.
In addition to her husband of 55 years, she leaves three daughters, Margaret Rose Asdot of Brandon, FL, Danielle Walker of Mansfield, and Charlene Walker and her husband John Moorehouse of South Grafton; a brother, Charles Bourgeois of Woonsocket, RI; four grandchildren, Thomas Rogers and his wife Paula of Milford, Wendy Rogers of Upton, Matthew Walker of Los Angeles, CA, and Megan Walker of Portland, ME; three great-grandchildren, Veronica, Christopher, and Melanie Rogers of Milford; and many nieces and nephews.
