Margery A. (Black) Carbonneau, 95, of Upton, died Sunday, November 4, 2007 in SunBridge of Milford after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Philip G. "Buster" Carbonneau, who died in 2002 after 65 years of marriage.
Mrs. Carbonneau was born in Milford, a daughter of the late James L. and Florence (Bradish) Black. She moved to Upton nearly 70 years ago and enjoyed spending summers in Blue Hill, Maine. She worked at Westboro State Hospital for many years, retiring 30 years ago. A member of the United Parish of Upton, she had been active at the Upton Senior Center and loved to knit and crochet.
She leaves her sister, Elinor Quirk of Milford, and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Arthur Black, Donald Black, Norman Black, and Muriel Rose.

Service Details
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m.
in the funeral home at 45 Main Street, Upton, with the
Rev. Jan Gregory-Charpentier, pastor of the United Parish of Upton, officiating.
Burial to follow in Lakeview Cemetery.
A calling hour will be held at the funeral home
from 10 to 11 a.m. just prior to the service.
