Margaret I. (Macini) Rawson, 98, of Upton, died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Golden Pond in Hopkinton after a period of declining health. She was the widow of Allan V. Rawson, who died in 1978.
Mrs. Rawson was born in Milford, the daughter of Antonio and Maria Macini. She was a 1929 graduate of Milford High School and worked as a bookkeeper for Knowles Chevrolet, Sherman DeSoto-Plymouth, 495 Toyota, and Sam Glatky Jeweler. She also assisted her husband with the management of Rawson Service Station in Whitinsville from 1950 to 1975. A devout Catholic, she was a communicant of Holy Angels Parish in Upton, and a member of the Foresters of America.
She leaves one son, Allan Frederick Rawson of Worcester, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

in Maplewood Cemetery in West Upton with Rev. Laurance Brault,
pastor of Holy Angels Parish, officiating.
