Louis J. Lifrieri

UPTON - Louis J. Lifrieri, 75, of Upton and formerly of East Windsor, NJ, died Friday evening, August 18, 2006, in Milford Regional Medical Center after a period of declining health. He was the husband of Elizabeth J. (Zeliph) Lifrieri, to whom he was married for 49 years.
Mr. Lifrieri was born in Croton-on-Hudson, NY, the son of the late Louis and Margaret (McCarthy) Lifrieri. He grew up in NY and lived in East Windsor for 30 years before coming to live with his daughter, Judith Lifrieri, in Upton five months ago. He was a distillery worker for Fleischmann's Distillery in Peekskill, NY for 30 years, retiring in 1990.
In addition to his wife and daughter, he leaves a sister, Pauline Rocco, and a niece, Nina Miller, both of Yonkers, NY; and many other nieces and nephews by marriage. His son, Joseph Lifrieri of East Windsor died in February. He was also the brother of the late Gloria Demartine and Theresa Ferrarra.

Service Details
Following cremation, a memorial mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony's Church-Nepera Park, 10 Squire Ave., Yonkers, NY at 11 AM on Saturday, September 2, 2006. Burial will follow in Kensico Cemetery, 273 Lakeview Ave., Valhalla, NY at 1 PM.
