Laverna A. (White) Carbonneau, 98, died Saturday, December 15, 2012 in St. Camillus Healthcare in Northbridge after a long period of declining health. She was the widow of Rudolph "Rudy" Nelson, who died in 1972, and Addelor R. "Charlie" Carbonneau, who died in 1982.
Mrs. Carbonneau was born in Grafton, the daughter of Fred and Caroline (Allard) White, and lived in Upton most of her life. She was a communicant of the former Holy Angels Parish and had worked at the Knowlton and Kartiganer hat companies and at Knowlton Manor Nursing Home.
in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon St., Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
