Lauria Grace Daubney, 95 of Upton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 29, 2021, at the Blackstone Valley Health and Rehabilitation Center (formerly St. Camillus) in Whitinsville. She was the beloved wife of the late Sidney C. Daubney, who died in 1992.
Born in Aldenville, she was the daughter of the late Eugene and Rosa (Rougeau) Sicard. She was raised and educated in Aldenville and graduated from Chicopee High School, class of 1942.
Prior to retirement, Mrs. Daubney was employed as a bookkeeper for Louis Fashion Shop in Whitinsville. She had also been employed as a bookkeeper at Medway Block in Medway and Production Pattern and Foundry Company in Chicopee.
Lauria spent twenty-one winters in St. Petersburg, FL. and was able to watch many space shuttles launch at Cape Canaveral. She also enjoyed traveling to Hawaii and England, watching the Boston Red Sox and keeping their stats, quilting, reading, cooking, and playing solitaire.
She is survived by her children, William Daubney of Orland, ME, Claudia Pinto and her husband Elias of Upton, Dennis Daubney and his wife Judith of Upton, and Rosemary Tessier and her husband Roger of Bellingham; her grandchildren, Lisa Ferrandino and her husband David of Upton, Heather Pinto and her husband Kevin Kuczinski of Upton, Sarah Fitzpatrick and her husband Sean of Spencer, Laura Pinto and her husband Timothy Ghetti of Upton, Dennis Daubney and his wife Ann of Leeds, England, Ruth Daubney of Upton, and Danielle Tessier of Brooks, ME; her great-grandchildren, Jason, Jake, and Julia Ferrandino, Annabelle Pinto, Timothy Ghetti, Cassandra, Ryan and Michael Fitzpatrick, Hazel Daubney, and Ava Tessier; and many nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her daughter-in-law Chein Daubney, her grandson Clifford Crowe, and her brother Joel Sicard.
Her graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, April 9 in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.
