Kathleen E. Ferris

Kathleen “Kathy” E. (Kennelly) Ferris, 68, of Uxbridge and formerly of Upton, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 14, 2022, at her home.

Kathleen was born 1953 to the late Everett and Mildred (Auty) Kennelly.

Kathy graduated in 1971 from Nipmuc Regional High School in Mendon, Ma.

She was the former wife of Glenn L. Ferris, Sr. who passed away in 2015.

Kathleen worked for over 40 years for Price Chopper Corporation.

She is survived by her son Glenn L. Ferris, Jr. and his wife Marianne Johnson-Ferris of Northbridge, her brother James Kennelly Sr and wife Denise of Uxbridge, six grandchildren Dylan Johnson and his wife Melissa, Matthew Johnson, Bryan Johnson, Emily Ferris and her Fiancé Timmothy Macalone, Christopher Ferris and his friend Daniella Birri, Brandon Ferris, and a Great grandson Dalton Johnson, her niece Gina Burke and her husband Brian, and her nephew James Kennelly Jr.

Her funeral service will be held at 10 AM, on Saturday, October 22, in the Pickering and Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main St. Upton.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.

Calling hours will be held Friday, October 21, from 4 to 6 PM, in the funeral home.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at the V.F.W. in Upton following the graveside ceremony.
