Karolyn (Sekely) Kloepping, 55, of Upton, died at home on Thursday, February 28, 2013 after a valiant and lengthy battle with cancer. She was the wife of Dennis J. Kloepping.
Mrs. Kloepping was born in Poughkeepsie, NY, a daughter of Mary (Billerbeck) Sekely of Copake Falls, NY and the late Karol Sekely. She grew up in Wappingers Falls, NY and had lived in Salt Point, NY before coming to Upton in 2000. A self-employed nutrition consultant and Reiki practitioner, she was certified by the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. She also was a substitute teacher at Nipmuc Regional High School, worked race and events at Sunday River in Maine, and volunteered at Silverwood Farms CSA in Sherborn. She had a passion for skiing and the beach.
In addition to her husband of 19 years and her mother, she leaves a son, Kyle Evan Kloepping of Upton; a brother, Kristopher Sekely of Salt Point, NY; and a sister, Kathy McClellan of Lakeside, AZ.

Funeral services Tuesday, March 5, at 10 a.m.
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton,
with the Rev. Dr. Jan Gregory-Charpentier,
pastor of the United Parish of Upton, officiating.
Cremation will follow.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Monday, March 4, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
