JULIE “JULES” LYNN DEAN

October 16, 1963 – September 3, 2023

A resident of Upton, Julie “Jules” Dean was born on October 16, 1963, in Cherry Point, North Carolina to George “Pep” and Margaret “Margie” Dean. She is predeceased by her father, Pep, and brother, Michael, and grandparents Gertrude and George Dean and Anne and Joseph Gorman.

Julie attended Nipmuc Regional High School and Bentley College. Julie was employed at BNY Mellon, Investor Services in Westborough, MA. Julie recently returned home from a cruise to Bermuda in which she enjoyed music, trivia, games shows, and time spent with family. Julie was an avid Boston sports fan. She will be remembered for her generosity, quick wit, intelligence, and loyalty to friends.

Julie is survived by her mother, Margie Dean, and sisters Michelle (Dennis) Sheehan of Upton and Teresa (Emidio) DiVirgilio of Walpole and she was the proud aunt of Christina (Joe) Wisialko, Anthony (Juliana) DiVirgilio, Abbie and Dean Sheehan, Rachel Dean, and great-nephew Leo Wisialko.

Julie also leaves her aunts and uncles Joan Varney, Rita Gorman, Colleen Dean, Kathy Ramsey, Paul (Mary) Gorman, and Frank B. Orr and many cousins.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 PM on Thursday, September 14, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
