Judith Ann (Pease) Wetzelaer

June 4, 1941 — September 6, 2007

Judith Ann (Pease) Wetzelaer, 66, of Millville, died Thursday, September 6, 2007 in UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after a ten-month battle with ovarian cancer. She was the wife of Peter J. Wetzelaer and a retired electronic assembler.

Mrs. Wetzelaer was born in Ludlow, the daughter of Virginia F. (Andrews) Jernberg of Springfield and the late Clifford N. Pease. She was also the stepdaughter of the late Clayton R. Jernberg. She grew up in Springfield, where she graduated with the Class of 1959 of Commerce High School, and had lived in Milford before moving to Millville in 1985.

She worked for Bose Corp. in Framingham for twelve years and then for Eastern Acoustic Works in Whitinsville for eight years before retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Sunshine Club of the Chestnut Hill Community Association in Millville and the AARP. She was a fan of the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots and enjoyed her animals, cross stitching, crocheting, gardening, and the Internet.

In addition to her husband of 44 years and her mother, she leaves one son, Peter J. Wetzelaer and his wife Angela of Northbridge; two daughters, Susan Bouthiette and her husband Ronald of Upton and Lori Cote and her husband Jeffrey of Northbridge; a brother, Richard Pease of Springfield; and five grandchildren, Rebecca Hall of Upton and Ryan, Sean, Paul, and Steven Wetzelaer, all of East Waterboro, ME.

Service Details

Funeral services Monday, September 10 at 11 a.m. in the
Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street, Upton.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m.
