Josephine Clara (Corazza) O'Brien

Josephine Clara (Corazza) O'Brien, 85, passed away on June 29, 2011 in Ocala, FL after a long period of declining health. She was the widow of Marcus L. O'Brien, who died in 2010 after 59 years of marriage.
Mrs. O'Brien was born in Gaiarine, in the northern Italian province of Treviso, the daughter of the late Tomaso and Natalina (Bet) Corrazza. She came to the U. S. in 1948 and lived in Illinois for a short time, where she met and married her husband. They moved to Florida in 1953, living in Fort Lauderdale for 30 years before retiring to Ocala. She worked as a bookkeeper for several businesses in Fort Lauderdale before retiring. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, and time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.
She leaves two daughters-in-law, Stephanie Frank of Belchertown, MA and Katherine O'Brien of Upton, MA, two beloved grandsons, David O'Brien of Belchertown and Christopher O'Brien of Bloomingdale, IN, a beloved granddaughter, Ashley O'Brien of Upton, and several great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Gilbert L. O'Brien of Upton, who died in 2001.

Following cremation in FL, private graveside services will be held in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton, MA.
