Jeanette J. (Belliveau) Moriarty, 82, of Mendon, died Friday, March 11, 2016 in Beaumont Nursing Center in Northbridge after a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of John J. "Jack" Moriarty, who died on February 7th after 62 years of marriage.
Jeanette was born in Woonsocekt, RI, a daughter of the late Francois and Rose (Durette) Belliveau. She graduated from Woonsocket High School in 1950, worked as a stitcher at Royal Robes in Woonsocket, and had lived in Mendon since her marriage in 1954.
She leaves three sons, David and his wife Diane of Uxbridge, Brian and his wife Laurel of Upton, and John of Pascoag, RI; two daughters, Jacqueline Moriarty and Ticia Low, both of Mendon; a sister Edith Macuga of Uxbridge; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Shannon, Matthew, Keryn, Christine, Shaun, Callan, and Avery; and two great-grandchildren, Reagan and David. She was also the sister of the late Norman, Robert, and Lucien Belliveau, and Estelle Davis.
Service Details
A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, March 16
at 11 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 77 Mendon St., Uxbridge.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
A calling hour in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton
will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., prior to the mass on Wednesday.
