James E. Flooks

James “Jim” E. Flooks, 65, of Auburn and formerly of Upton, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 28, 2020 surrounded by his family.  He was the beloved husband to Helen L. (Lacoste) Flooks.

Born in Milford, he was a son of the late Robert and Irene (Partridge) Flooks.  He was raised and educated in Upton and was a graduate of Blackstone Valley Technical High School Class of 1975.

Prior to retirement, Mr. Flooks was employed as an injection molder at Aearo/ 3M for over 20 years.

Jim enjoyed playing the guitar, spending time at Old Orchard Beach, camping in many places, 10 pin bowling with Helen for many years, auto body work, tinkering with many things, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children, Eileen Flooks, Jessica Whiting and her husband Willis; five step-children, Joseph Bourassa, Sharon Shoar and her husband Ernest; Robert Bourassa, David Bourassa and Sherrye Olney and her husband James; His four grandchildren, Victoria Schultz, Jennifer and Sarah Amlaw and James Whiting; and many nieces, nephews, and step-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by his siblings, Roger Partridge, Judith Cooper, Marlene Yanski, Barbara Jean Willett, and Linda Cofske.

His funeral service will be held privately with family on Saturday, October 3, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, Inc.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.
