James H. Costello

James H. Costello, 60, of Upton, died early Friday, April 17, 2009, in his home after a long illness. He was the beloved husband of Geraldine E. (Shea) Costello, to whom he was married for 29 years.
Mr. Costello was born in Boston, a son of the late Henry and Agnes (Wolkowski) Costello. He was a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and worked as a systems engineer for Data General in Southboro for 16 years before retiring due to disability almost 20 years ago. He had resided in Upton for 30 years and was a communicant of Holy Angels Parish.
In addition to his wife, he leaves his long-time caregiver, Kathy Danforth of Uxbridge; one brother, John Costello of Rohnert Park, CA; two sisters, Barbara Caparso of Shrewsbury and Mary Irwin of Altadena, CA; 6 nieces and nephews; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the VNA of Milford, 37 Birch St., Milford 01757; St. Gabriel the Archangel Building Fund, c/o Holy Angels Rectory, 2 Nelson St., Upton 01568; or to the Upton Ambulance Fund, Box 29, Upton 01568.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 from the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, Milford St., Upton.Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday, April 19, 2009 from 6 to 9 p.m.
