Irene M. (Partridge) Flooks

UPTON - Irene M. (Partridge) Flooks, 86, a long time resident of Upton, died Friday, April 21, 2006, in the Westborough Health Care Center in Westborough. She was the widow of Robert E. Flooks, who died in 1996.
Mrs. Flooks was born in Saco, Maine, a daughter of the late Harry and Hazel (Booth) Partridge. She grew up in Saco and graduated in 1940 from the Thorton Academy, Saco, Maine. At age 20 she moved to Upton, where she worked for many years at the former Kartiganer Hat Company. Mrs. Flooks enjoyed gardening and completing jig-saw puzzles with her family.
She leaves one son, James Flooks of Auburn; two daughters, Barbara Willette of Westborough and Linda Cofske of Upton; one sister, Barbara McGee of Upton; 15 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Roger Partridge of Upton, Judith Cooper of Worcester, and Marlene Yanski of Milford.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that contributions be made in her memory to the Westborough Health Center Resident Council Fund, 5 Colonial Drive, Westborough, MA 01581.
on Monday, April 24, 2006, with a service in the funeral home following at 10 a.m.
Following cremation, private burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.

Service Details
A calling hour in the funeral home will be held from 9 to 10 a.m.on Monday, April 24, 2006, with a service in the funeral home following at 10 a.m.
Following cremation, private burial in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
