Howard F. Hill, 76, a lifelong Upton resident, died Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 in Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester. He was the husband of Ann F. (Gulino) Hill.
Mr. Hill was born in Upton, a son of the late Howard M. and Edith L. (Smith) Hill, and served with the Army National Guard of Mass. and the Army Reserves. He worked as a machinist at Whitin Machine Works, R & A Machine of Worcester, and then at General Motors in Framingham until retiring due to disability in 1988.
In addition to his wife, he leaves seven children, Howard F. Hill Jr. of Upton, Mauro "Moe" Hill, Michael Hill, and Donna Brodie of Northbridge, Linda Smith of Webster, Karen Rafferty of Uxbridge, and Paul Hill of Plainville; a sister, Natalie Reed of Medway; 13 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. He was also the brother of the late Marilyn Hamm and Bill Holbrook.

A memorial service will be held Friday, September 17, 2010 at 8 p.m.
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Following cremation, private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
