Henry J. Noel

Henry J. Noel, 91, of Upton, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 5, 2024, at his home.  He is the beloved husband of 70 years to Constance J. (Hall) Noel.

Born in Grafton, he was a son of the late Simeon and Hermeline (Laperriere) Noel, and was raised and educated in Grafton.

Prior to his retirement in 1997, Mr. Noel was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Upton Fuel and Construction and Whitinsville Water Company.

He enjoyed working around the yard, doing woodworking projects, and spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Eugene Noel and his wife Lori, of Upton, Darlene DiCrescentis and her husband Louis, of Uxbridge, and Leslie Noel and his wife Maureen, of Upton; his grandchildren, Keith Cote, Jamie Cote, Chad Noel, Louis DiCrescentis, Jr., Adam Noel, Rachel Noel, and Jessica Noel; his great-grandchildren, Addison, Corey, Garrett, Leonardo, and Eva; three sisters, Rita, Blanche, and Bernice; and many nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by a daughter Priscilla Cote, a grandson Corey Noel, and his siblings Ernest, Sam, Mable, Alice, Ruth, Anne, and Cecile.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 A.M. on Saturday, January 13, in St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 151 Mendon Street, Upton.  Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, Upton.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 6 P.M. on Friday, January 12, in the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
