Helen Frances (Brunet) White, 85, passed away July 27, 2009 in Hopkinton after a period of declining health. She was the wife of James Irvin White, who preceded her in death on March 9, 2009, and to whom she was married since 1945.
Mrs. White was born in Hibbing, MN on January 8, 1924. She grew up in Minnesota and served with the U.S. Navy during World War II. She lived in Framingham and then Hopkinton for many years, retiring with her husband in 1985 to Carlsbad, CA and then Bradenton, FL. While in Hopkinton, both Helen and Jim were dedicated members of The First Congregational Church of Hopkinton and devoted their lives to Christ.
She leaves three children, Barry James White of Hudson, Susan Leah Morgan and her husband Ray of Loveland, CO, and William Edward White and his wife Donna of Upton;
two brothers, Jack and William Brunet of CA; five grandchildren, Angel, James, Robert, Ashley, and Nicole; and three great-grandchildren, Kaidan, Michael, and Madison.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
Service Details
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 30, at 11 a.m.
in the funeral home at 45 Main St., Upton, with Pastor Richard Germaine officiating.
A calling hour at the funeral home will be from 10 to 11 a.m.
prior to the service on Thursday.
