Harvey P. Boulay

HOPEDALE- Harvey P. Boulay, 97, of Hopedale and formerly of Milford, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, February 18, 2022. He was the husband of Dorothy M. (Mele) Boulay for 24 years. In addition to his wife, he leaves his stepdaughter Cheryl Giroux of Hopedale and his son in law Michael Giroux of Milford. He was born in Dracut on February 3, 1925, son of the late Joseph and Clarice (Brunelle)Boule. Brother of the late Claire Coughlin, Charles Boule, Leo Bouley, Gerard Boule, George Boule, Theresa Provencher and Roland Boule and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dorothy & Edward St. Andre. He leaves many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. Harvey served in WWII in Europe receiving the Silver Star & Purple Heart. He enjoyed dancing, playing cards, the New England Patriots and spending time with family including his beloved dogs Lacie, Bella & Chico. He retired from Whitinsville Machine Works where he worked for over 40 years. He also ran the Ed & Harvey Rubbish Disposal Co. of Upton with his late brother-in-law Edward St. Andre.

His funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 23, at 10:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, 5 East Main St., Milford. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Vernon Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will precede the Mass from 9 to 10 A.M. at the Pickering & Son Upton Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton.
