UPTON - Gloria C. (Letourneau) Kozel, 74, of Upton, died Tuesday, October 3, 2006 in St. Camillus Health Center in Northbridge, where she had been a patient for several months. She was a clerical worker in the state welfare department for 11 years, retiring about twenty years ago. She had also worked at Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School and in local banks.
Mrs. Kozel was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Ernest and Adrienne (Savoie) Letourneau. She was a graduate of the former St. Mary's High School in Milford and lived in Upton most of her life. She was a communicant of Holy Angels Parish in Upton, sang in the church choir, and was active in its Women's Guild. She was also a founding and life member of the Upton Bloomer Girls.
She leaves two sons, Michael and Robert Kozel, both of Upton; a daughter, Linda Paige of Windham, ME; a brother, Roger Letourneau of Hope Sound, FL; 10 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. A grandson, Joseph Kozel, died in 2002.

Funeral services Saturday, October 7 from the funeral home starting at 9 a.m.
with a funeral mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, Milford Street, Upton.
Burial in Lakeview Cemetery.
