Glenn L. "Larry" Ferris, Sr., 66, of Uxbridge, died Tuesday evening, August 25, 2015, in the U Mass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester surrounded by his family. He had been a truck driver for Osterman Gas of Northbridge for over 20 years, retiring earlier this year.
Larry was born in Fall River, a son of the late Charles H. Sr. and Lillian (Cole) Ferris, and had resided in Uxbridge for 40 years. A disabled Vietnam veteran, he served as a Corporal with the US Marine Corps and was a member of the George L. Wood VFW Post in Upton. He was an antique car enthusiast who loved working on his cars, car shows, and cruise nights.
He leaves his beloved partner, Linda Legg of Uxbridge; one son, Glenn Ferris, Jr. and his wife Marianne of Northbridge; three brothers, Charles "Bud" Ferris, Jr. and his wife Betsy of Harwich, Gregory Ferris and his wife Betty of Davenport, FL, and Jay Ferris and his wife Karen of Upton; one sister, Jill Beckwith and her husband Art of Webster; Linda's children, Robert Legg of Uxbridge and Brenda Valois of Manville, RI; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Service Details
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m.
in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial with military honors will follow
in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m.
