George H. Fraser, 79, of Carlisle, died Friday, October 24, 2014 at his home after a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of Linda (Waring) Fraser.
George was born in Boston, the son of the late George S. and Alice (Stow) Fraser. He lived in the Pinehurst section of Billerica before coming to Carlisle in 1978, where he established Fraser Farm. He was an auto mechanic and supervisor at Cambridge Electric Light Company for 35 years, retiring in 1993, and a member of Simonds Lodge of Masons in Burlington. A big man with an even bigger heart, he was hard working and always willing to lend a hand. His ready wit and ever practical advice will be sorely missed.
In addition to his wife; he leaves his stepchildren, William Milhizer and Sara Donnelly, both of Troy, NY; a nephew, Kenneth Pedersen, Jr. of Upton; and several great-nephews and great-nieces. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Brooks) Fraser, his daughter, Beth Fraser, his sister, Marion Pedersen, and a nephew, Kevin Pedersen.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 28, at 10 a.m.in the Concord Funeral Home, 74 Belknap Street, Concord.
Burial will follow in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery in Concord.
