Frank L. Thompson, 79, a long-time Framingham resident, died early Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in the Carlyle House in Framingham after an illness. He was the husband of Nancy M. (Gullett) Thompson.
Frank was born in Somerville, a son of the late Edgar and Florence (Cleavland) Thompson, and grew up in Nova Scotia. He was self-employed as a painter.
In addition to his wife of 43 years, he leaves one daughter, Jeanne Ward of Upton; six sons, Michael Cabral of Weymouth, Frank Thompson, Jr. of Framingham, Roger and Jonathan Wilson of Framingham, Jeff Wilson of Holliston, and Jerome Wilson of Brookline; two brothers, Dale Thompson of Canton and Ralph Thompson of Waltham; a sister, Lorraine Woodcock of Oregon; 11 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.
Service Details
Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 21, 2010,
at 4 p.m. in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Private burial will take place in Nova Scotia at a later date.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m.
