MILFORD - Elizabeth Mae (Colcord) Leith, 90, formerly of Framingham and Port Richey, FL, died Friday, May 3, 2013 in the Blaire House of Milford. She was the widow of William C. Leith.
Mrs. Leith was born in Milford, a daughter of the late Guy L. Colcord and Ruth (Cheney) Colcord Person and was a stepdaughter of the late Nils Person of Upton. A 1941 graduate of Upton High School, she worked as a store detective for Jordan Marsh in Framingham for many years and had lived in Framingham and then in FL for 38 years before returning to MA last year.
She leaves a son, William F. Leith of Spring Hill, FL; a daughter, Beverly Doll of Rowley; 4 sisters, Hazel Sadler of Upton, Elsie Cary of Harpswell, ME, Edna Colcord of Wilbraham, and Thelma Reid of Mansfield; 2 brothers, Richard and Donald Person of Upton; and 3 grandchildren, Christopher Doll of Rowley, William Leith, Jr of Marlboro, and Charlene Leith-Bushey of No. Grosvenordale, CT.
will be held at the convenience of the family
in Mt. Auburn Cemetery in Hopkinton.
