Dorothy M. (Murray) Gaskill, 89, of Naples, FL and formerly of Upton, MA passed away in peace at her home on July 12, 2017, surrounded by family. She was the widow of John F. Gaskill, who died in 2014.
Born in Milford, MA, the daughter of the late Edward and Evelena (Page) Murray, Dottie was a devoted wife and mother. Always finding fun during the hardest of times, she gave great joy to others with her humor and quick wit. She was best known as a partner with her husband owning three Milford restaurants: Mary Lynn's, The Soda Shoppe, and Johnny Jacks.
She is survived by three daughters, Lynda Gaskill of Naples, Mary Shanahan of Mesa, AZ, and Marilyn Largey and her husband Mark of Lancaster, MA, six grandchildren, Michelle Carrabba Allen of OR, Michael Carrabba of FL, and Colleen Hutchins, Jason and Melodie Henry, and Emily Largey of MA; along with many great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild, and friend and caregiver Danny Atkinson of Naples. She was predeceased by her son Jack in 1971, and by her brothers Henry and Ernest Murray, and sister Eileen Dufresne. She is loved and will be missed.
