Donna B. (Bradford) Johnson, of Pt. St. Lucie, FL, and formerly of Upton, wife of the late Larry K. Johnson, passed away on June 18, after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late Ronald L. and Grace N. (Minor) Bradford. She was also predeceased by a sister, Bonnie, and a nephew, Craig.

Donna was educated in the Upton Elementary schools, Northbridge Jr. High School, and was a member the Class of ’65 at Nipmuc Regional High School where she played field hockey, basketball, and softball. She also attended Framingham Union Hospital School of Nursing. Donna was a longtime employee of the various iterations of the phone company in Massachusetts, Indiana and Florida. After retirement from the phone company, she worked for Walgreen’s until Covid hit.

She is survived by her brothers, Upton Fire Chief (Ret.) Michael J Bradford and his wife Mary of Upton, Stephen R Bradford of Holliston, and Joseph L. Bradford and his wife Gloria of Jacksonville, Florida; Nephews and nieces Michael Jr, Ashley, April and David; And grand nephews and nieces Colin, Kendal, Samantha, Michael, Connor, Kiera, Braeden, Bryson, Chase, and Owen. Also, dear sisters-in-law Lisa and Debbie Johnson who were a Godsend for Donna and Larry. She is also survived by an uncle, Norman Minor of Maine and his wife Denise and many, many cousins on both the Bradford and Minor sides of the family.

A Celebration of Donna's Life will be held from 2 to 4 P.M. on Saturday, September 28, at the Nipmuc Rod & Gun Club, 88 Fiske Mill Road, Upton.
