Donald W. Nelson

Donald W. Nelson, 68, a lifelong resident of Upton, died Wednesday, April 11, 2007 in Tufts New England Medical Center in Boston after suffering a heart attack four weeks previously. He was the husband of Gloria M. (White) Nelson and had worked for Fenwal, Inc. in Ashland for 37 years before retiring six years ago.
Mr. Nelson was born in Milford, a son of the late William J. and Rosina (Hyer) Nelson. He was member of the Class of 1956 of Grafton High School and also attended the Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst. He enjoyed vacationing in Maine and spending time with his family.
In addition to his wife of 40 years, he leaves three children, Donna Duda and her husband Gerald of Uxbridge, William Nelson and his wife Zita of Bristol, RI, and Bonnie Peters and her husband Arthur Peters, Jr. of Boylston; a brother, Richard Nelson of Wickenburg, AZ; and one grandson, Brandon Nelson of Bristol, RI.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. in theWilliams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
