Donald E. Hall

Donald E. Hall, 68, a lifelong resident of Upton, died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010, in Milford Regional Medical Center after an illness. He was the husband of Patricia E. (Woodcome) Hall.

Mr. Hall was born in Worcester, a son of the late Maurice and Aurora (Belanger) Hall. He was a 1959 graduate of Northbridge High School and earned a degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University in 1964. He served with the U. S. Army during the Vietnam era, attaining the rank of 1st Lt. He was an electrical engineer with Alden Electronics, Inc. of Westboro for 30 years, and also worked part-time at Bay State Abrasives for 25 years. He was a member of the National Electrical Engineering Honor Society and a communicant of Holy Angels Parish in Upton.

In addition to his wife of 40 years, he leaves two daughters, Christine Burke and her husband Bruce of Hollis, NH, and Carla Nelson and her husband Matthew of Malden; a granddaughter, Samantha Burke of Hollis; one brother, Maurice Hall, Jr., and two sisters, Blanche Grenier and Constance Noel, all of Upton; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Donalee Hall and Muriel Frederico.

Service Details

Funeral services Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, from the
Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main Street, Upton,
with a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, Milford St., Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery.

Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
