David E. Kane, Jr

David E. Kane, Jr., 36, of Medway, passed away on Thursday, June 11, 2015 after a long illness. Born in Milford, he was the son of David E. Kane, Sr. and Norma (Coutu) Sylvester of Medway. He grew up in Mendon and Bellingham, and had lived in Medway for nearly 30 years.
David formerly worked in construction and mechanics. He also worked with his grandfather Coutu in his landscaping business for many years. He loved music and played with several local bands over the years.
In addition to his parents; he leaves his aunts, Carol Oliver of Foxboro, Frances Lee Robinson of FL, Florence Shepherd and Rochelle Coutu of RI, Joanne Stenchfield of ME, and Terri Ann Desnoyers of Leominster; uncles Edward, Thomas, and Mark Coutu of FL and Russell Coutu of ME; and many cousins all across the country. He was also the younger brother of the late Jason Sylvester, who died in 1998, and the grandson of the late Woodrow, Sr. and Doris Kane of Bellingham and the late Francis and Leila Coutu of Mendon. David loved his family and friends and will be deeply missed.

Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16, at 10 a.m.in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton.
