FORT COLLINS, CO - Christine (Heald) Tinker, 84, formerly of Upton, passed away from cancer in Fort Collins, CO, on Wednesday, June 14, 2006. She was a retired federal employee and the wife of George Tinker.
Mrs. Tinker was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late Howard and Agnes (Helberg) Heald. She grew up in Upton, where she completed high school before leaving to serve her country in the
U. S. Navy. She was a proud Navy veteran of WWII and then spent her career in government service until retiring in the early 1970s. She enjoyed spending her retirement years in homes in Massachusetts, Florida, and Colorado.
In addition to her devoted husband of 34 years, she leaves one son, Ric Schug and his wife Kathy of Loveland, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to VNA Care Hospice, 120 Thomas Street, Worcester, MA 01608.

A graveside service will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Upton
at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 22.
