Charles W. Francis, Jr

Charles W. Francis, Jr., 66, of Douglas, died Thursday, April 17, 2014 in U Mass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester after an illness. He was the husband of Denise E. (Ramsey) Francis.
Mr. Francis was born in Milford, the son of the late Charles and Louise (Stanley) Francis, and was a US Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era. A resident of Upton before coming to Douglas 35 years ago, he worked as a mechanic for Caterpillar in Hopkinton until retiring three years ago.
In addition to his wife of 15 years, he leaves one daughter, Jamie Francis of Woonsocket, RI; two stepdaughters, Tina Jackson of Douglas and Tonya Kanerva of Boylston; his sister, Suzanne Hastings of San Jose, CA; four grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, going to the garage, his "girls" (chickens), but most of all spending time with all his friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, the Charles Francis Scholarship Fund has been established at UniBank, 49 Church St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.

Burial with military honors will follow in
Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
Calling hours at the funeral home are from 10 a.m. to noon,
just prior to the service on Friday.

Service Details
Following cremation, a memorial service will be held Friday, April 25, at noon,in the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton.
Burial with military honors will follow in
Lakeview Cemetery, North Main St., Upton.
