Cecile C. (Rogers) Pomfred

Cecile C. (Rogers) Pomfred, 68, of Hopedale and formerly of Upton, died Wednesday, May 11, 2016 in Beaumont Nursing Home in Northbridge after an illness. She was the wife of Robert J. Pomfred.
Cecile was born in Milford, a daughter of the late Bernard T. and Bernadette (Carpentier) Rogers. She had lived in Upton most of her life until moving to Hopedale in 2012. A communicant of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish, she delivered the Milford Daily News for many years.
In addition to her husband of ten years, she leaves one sister, Lorraine "Lori" Thibeault and her husband Gerard of Sutton; four nephews, her godson Paul and Mark Thibeault of Sutton, Christopher Thibeault of Upton, and Thomas Rogers of Milford; a niece Wendy Rogers of Whitinsville; and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Her brother, Thomas A. B. Rogers, died last year.
